B&L: Where did the name Les Corbeaux come from?
Kristy: Les Corbeaux means ‘the ravens’ in French. It evolved from an obsession with Paris hence the name being in French and a weird connection/fear of birds and in particular ravens.
B&L: How did you get started?
Kristy: I studied fashion and textile design at uni then travel and lived in Sydney and did a bit of work for magazines and decided that I wanted to be more hands on in the industry, so it was a natural progression for me to start my own label.





B&L: How would you describe your style?
Kristy: Simple and classic, with signature pieces that add a little interest.
B&L: What item can’t you leave home without?
Kristy: Water and lip gloss
B&L: Have you always been interested in fashion?
Kristy: I have in the sense that I have always been interested in the industry and always made my own clothes but I also study photography and graphic design.
B&L: What is next for Les Corbeaux?
Kristy: I will be focusing on expanding my collections and sourcing unique fabrics and possibly going international.
B&L: What makes your brand unique?
Kristy: I focus on maintaining an emphasis on classic silhouettes and quality fabrics whilst adding a little fun and playfulness to my designs.
B&L: What are you wearing this season?
Kristy: Knitted dresses, vintage jewellery, tortoise shell sunglasses and 20’s inspired heels
