Grammy-nominated pop superstars The Pussycat Dolls are giving the world fair warning…it’s time for global domination. On September 13, 2008, Nicole, Ashley, Jessica, Melody and Kimberly will release their sophomore album, Doll Domination, the follow-up to PCD, the international smash album that announced their arrival.
The Pussycat Dolls exploded on the pop music scene in the summer of 2005 with their worldwide #1 hit “Don’t Cha.” Their debut album, PCD, has sold over 7 million copies internationally on the strength of hit singles like “Buttons,” “Stickwitu” and “Beep.” They’ve toured the globe as a headline act, shared the stage with the likes of The Black Eyed Peas and Christina Aguilera, and picked up a slew of awards along the way.
Now it’s time for Chapter 2…
On Doll Domination The Pussycat Dolls collaborate with the hottest producers in music: Timbaland, Cee-Lo and Sean Garrett (among others). The album’s first single, the Rodney Jerkins-produced “When I Grow Up” is exploding across the country. In only three weeks “When I Grow Up” is #8 on the Motorola ARIA Singles Chat on digital sales alone. The single is physically release on July 12. The hot-as-fire video (directed by Joseph Kahn) already owns music television across the nation.
For a growing number of smart Australians, dealing with the high cost of living hasn’t meant cutting back on luxuries. For these savvy souls, eating out, ordering takeaways, buying brand name products at supermarkets and even filling up with petrol can still be done on a budget so long as you do your research and shop wisely. In some instances savings can be as much as 50% off.
“With so many Australians currently undergoing a self imposed belt tightening, it’s often the little luxuries in life that make these tough times a lot more bearable,” commented Gary Munitz, General Manager of Menulog.com.au. “If you do your homework beforehand, the cost of a meal in Australia can be slashed dramatically. For example on Menulog.com.au savings can include free main meals, bottles of wine with dinner or 2 for the price of one. And when it comes to home delivered food, many operators are throwing in free dishes when you place an order.
“Grocery shopping is another area where major savings can be had. According to recent findings, Fridays have been proclaimed the cheapest day of the week to shop*. That means you can actually afford to lash out and buy brand name products rather than generic brand items. And it’s widespread knowledge petrol can be almost 10 cents cheaper when bought on ‘Cheap Tuesdays’. The underlying message is, think before you buy and not only will you save a fortune, you’ll still be able to enjoy the little luxuries in life.”
“Menulog.com.au’s free service allows customers to browse over 15,000 food outlets across Australia and take advantage of the widest range of eatery discounts the country has to offer. Many specials are exclusive to Menulog.com.au. Delivery time can be prearranged, perfect for those busy Aussies who want their food delivery timed to arrive the moment they step through the front door.
“Trying a new eatery for the first time can be like playing Russian roulette; you don’t always know how good the food and service will be. Menulog.com.au allows users to view the most popular and top rated restaurants in their area based on customer feedback and read extracts of reviews from reputable critics. This gives users piece of mind before selecting a new eatery. Users with specific dietary requirements can also search for restaurants that will cater for their needs, i.e. peanut free, kosher, gluten free or vegetarian,” concluded Munitz.

A limited edition SILHOUETTE Color Brilliance range has been chosen as the flagship to facilitate the donation of funds to this very worthy cause which finances essential research into the prevention and cure of breast cancer.
Schwarzkopf Professional will donate $1 from every sale of the vibrant range of SILHOUETTE Color Brilliance to the National Breast Cancer Foundation. Team effort is the key to making the most of this initiative, and special thanks goes to Schwarzkopf’s business partner, DHL Exel Supply Chain, which is generously offering to cover all warehousing costs to the value of $20,000 during the campaign. This collaborative effort should realise a total pledge of approximately $80,000.
