This month we are wondering, just how did Jessica Mauboy snag Flo Rider to feature in her single “Running Back”? Whatever the reason, we are proud of the pocket rocket Australian Idol singer, and are playing the song on repeat. The song is high in the charts and we can’t wait to hear what comes next!

We know this has been around for a while, but nothing gets us up and dancing like “That’s Not My Name” from The Ting Tings. Of course, trying to work and listening to Lady Gaga’s “Poker Face” isn’t recommended either…it’s a struggle to keep our feet firmly planted at our desks.

November albums high on our list include Anastacia’s newie, “Heavy Rotation”, there is something different about this songstress – maybe it’s the fact her trademark glasses are missing from the cover? Regardless, this is a girl power album, and for those who are fans of Anastacia, you will not be disappointed.

The much anticipated Guns N' Roses album Chinese Democracy will be hitting Aussie music shelves on November 22nd, and we know it will be a best seller.

The Potbelleez self titled album is perfect for a girl’s night out. If you haven’t heard the hits “Don’t Hold Back” and “Are you with Me” we wonder just where your ears have been.

Who could forget Beyonce, this curvalicious lady is one of our favourites and her single “If I Were a Boy” is a reminder that this girl can really sing! It’s nice that divas (the voice without the attitude, or so we have heard) still exist.

Another single that has been around for a while, “Electric Feel” is creating quite a debate. Love it or hate it? It definitely has an 80’s feel to it…and you are either an 80’s fan or you’re not. We find most people who lived it the first time want to forget (or maybe they want to pretend their bad hairstyles didn’t exist), but those who are a bit younger can’t get enough.

50 Cent will be releasing a new album in early 2009 titled “Before I Self Destruct” which will include a bonus full length original movie. We think this is very cool, and the reason behind the freebie? 50 Cent wants to give something back to his fans in a time when money is tight. Now that’s love!

Taylor Swift is planning an Australian tour, and the 18 year old will be performing here in March 2009. American’s are obsessing over the Grammy nominated singer/songwriter, and Australian’s are sure to love her too. Tickets will go on sale 24th November at 9am, and you can grab them from Ticketek.
