the lounge

This is my living room and my haven. It is the room that I try to keep tidy the most. I love to entertain and the balcony is a great place to do it. My favourite thing about the living room is my purple sofa (and the storage that is underneath it).

The book on the coffee table is Artists and Prostitutes by David LaChapelle. There were only 2500 produced and I was lucky enough to snap one up. I must admit it lives in it's box not on my coffee table most of the time.

the bedroom

This is my bedroom. As you can see I like colour. I would say my bedroom is very feminine with bags, shoes and jewellery everywhere. If I'm honest this is the room that gets the most messy.

My name is Lydia-Jane Saunders and I am addicted to shoes.

Not only am I addicted to shoes, I also have a clutch handbag problem. The more impractical and colourful the better. 

the collections

I collect glass, whether it's shot glasses, martini glasses, wine glasses, dessert wine glasses or vases, I love it. Usually it is colourful or patterned. I love to entertain and cook. My favourite part of a dinner party is setting the table (must be the stylist in me).

I'm lucky to live above Fratelli Fresh so get to cook with the freshest ingredients. My pride and joy in the kitchen is my spice rack that I brought back from London. It's the small details that count.
