WHAT WE THOUGHT
Jane’s Hotel is a slightly different take on the “Diner Style” game. Interestingly, buying improvements to your hotel actually makes life harder for Jane … adding plants means watering and more entertainment for the customers makes the game more challenging.
As your popularity increases your hotel receives star ratings, and you are able to make purchases to upgrade your hotel.
Keep customers satisfied by offering drinks, newspapers and telephones so they can have a good old gossip. There is a cleaner that you can call in for assistance, she vacuums and waters among other things. Jane’s Hotel becomes quite a challenging game and the hotel setting is unique.
The graphics were quite cute, especially Jane but the characters made me laugh because they seem to walk sideways, which could be improved. You receive tips for “fast service” and as you work your way through the levels you get bigger, better hotels.
While there are better games out there, it was worth a play and kept me entertained!
