WHAT WE THOUGHT

Desperate Housewives is one of those shows that I regularly watch, so I decided to give the game a try.

The characters are extremely familiar, and they bear a striking resemblance to the TV versions of themselves, from the way they look to their voices and personalities.

The music, narrator and general sound effects will delight any DHW fan, and the episodic layout and soapie, bizarre storyline only helps to resemble the hit show.

There are however, some aspects of the game that I found a little disappointing. It does have its limitations, and could be improved with more game play and the ability to make additional choices. It also seems to make little difference which conversation reaction you have, as the answer is usually the same.

Many women have fantasies of Mike Delfino “fixing their plumbing” and being able to get cosy with him in the game, even if just for a few moments, might be reason enough to go out and buy it.

I would have liked a bit more control over the actions and objectives, and had more secrets to reveal, but overall I found it to be quite entertaining.

In summary, if you love the show, you will most likely enjoy the game, even if it is just to sabotage the fashion show!
