My fav vampire would actually be Jessica from True Blood. She was turned against her will and is angry at everyone and everything at being a vampire and not being able to do what she wants. Yet she i s strong enough within herself to overcome this and finds love with a human. Watching her I thought there would be no hope, but she showed me that anyone can overcome the odds that are stacked up!
Until Twilight I never really read alot of paranormal books, but since falling in love with the idea of Edward I must say he is the ultimate Vampire,, every girls dream @!! lol.. As much as a fictinal character he is,, every girls dreams of a gentleman like Edward , devoted loving kind and well.. his charism sparkles like him ** giggles** .. We can all dream and twilight lets us twi mums dream that little dream .. But saying that I have read alot of vampire novels and there are some really good ones,,

Before the Twilight series vampire fiction never appealed to me, that was until I met the Cullens, I love Edward!
Definately Edward Cullen… he is one hot vampire and can suck on my neck any day!
Vampire Academy’s Adrian Ivashkov – royal vampire and spirit user with all the mystery that a vampire should have…the bad boy of the vampire world!
Dracula because he was one of the originals!
Good Lady Ducayne (1869) – a rich old lady who has a young companion “Bella” (now where have I heard that name before in a vampire book) who would read to her. Bella’s health is fading and she is covered in mosquito bites. I like the thought of a vampire who isnt young and sexy, doesnt have glittery skin and doesnt fly.
Louis, Interview wit the Vampire, Anne Rice 1976, great story one of the first vampire books I read, after seeing Brad Pitt play the character in the 1994 film. Introducing the vampire with a distaste for killing humans and feeding from animals….again… familiar!!!!
It would have to be the cullen’s, but especially Alice. She can tell the future (How awesome is that!), plus she knows how to make sure Jasper doesn’t lash out. My second favourite would be Emmett, because he is HOT!
Loved the movie Blade; Drake had me too scared to even leave my seat as it was dark!

I read a lot of vampire novels, but I would have to say that my favourite vampire of them all is definitely Miranda from the book ‘Eternal’ by Cynthia Leitich Smith, because the main vampires in most books are male, or if they are female, they’re not as vicious and deadly as the male vampires. Miranda is vicious and deadly, which I love! She’s strong, aristocratic and kind of nasty, but I still really liked her. Plus, she has a dark sense of humour that made her even more likable!

Alex O’Loughlin plays a Private Investigator. He was turned into a vampire on his wedding night by his new bride Coraline. He is a good vampire fighting against the bad ones.. The best part is that he fights his feelings for a mortal named Beth Turner. The attraction between the two is so fantastic…he is hotter than hot and such a gentleman about it too..

Well girls, I’m right there with you! Rob Pattinson’s character, Edward is just to die for!!! But I must say my all time fave vampire is The Count from Seseme Street! He’s friendly, soft and cute, a hit with the kids, he never bites, and he’s so smart with mathmatics!
Nosferatu was such an evil character-a true original of the vampire genre and just as scary today
Abchanchu is my favorite Vampire character. He is a legendary Bolivian vampire who shapeshifts into the form of a helpless, elderly traveler. When a passerby offers to help him, Abchanchu victimizes him and drinks his blood.
Rhage from the Black Dagger Brotherhood series by JR Ward – he’s hotter than Eric Northman, a bit of a manwhore, but totally hilarious!
I just love Damon from “The Vampire Diaries”. Despite his evil exterior, he has a sweet inner self that is absolutely adorable!
