WHAT WE THOUGHT

I remember the first time I used an epilator, I was in my early teens and it belonged to my sister in law. It was really painful and took too long, and ever since I have opted to wax my legs and avoid epilators altogether.

When asked to review the Emjoi BodyBareSpa , I decided to brave it, as the brand has a good reputation for quality products.

To my pleasant surprise, the experience was nothing like I remembered; things have definitely come a long way! If you have never used an epilator before, it is a strange sensation at first, but doesn’t take long to get used to. Because it is plucking the hair out, you will feel it, but in my opinion, it hurts less than waxing, and you can certainly notice the massaging heads.

It has two speeds, which makes it great for the finer hair, or the thicker underarm or bikini area, and due to the gold tweezers, as promised, there was no irritation.

After two weeks, my legs are still silky smooth, and the great thing about it, is your hair only needs to be .5mm long before you can use it – no more waiting weeks for regrowth to wax, and no more shaving every 2 days.

The best thing about it – the convenience - If you have stray hairs, or getting ready for a girls night out, just plug it in and its ready to use. It is so easy to clean, simply take the cover off, and wipe over with the brush, and you are ready to store it in the provided storage pouch.

A small loofah is also provided, to give the area the best preparation possible.

For someone so against epilators in the past, I would happily and honestly recommend the Emjoi BodyBareSpa.
