Lingerie is often considered by men and women as a way to spice things up in the bedroom. Married couples in particular look to lingerie as a way to rekindle sparks of intimacy. However, lingerie can often fail to achieve such high hopes for a number of reasons.

If you still are skeptical about how you’ll feel in skimpy lingerie, letting your lover know what parts of your body you like the most can help. There are endless lingerie possibilities and there are specific types and styles made to accentuate specific shapes or parts of the body. Color is also important since men don’t usually appreciate the differences color can make. For example, lighter hues or pastel colors are ideal for blonde hair color, whereas darker tones of purple, red, or other shades tend to work better for brunettes. Most men would never know that.

Most men, and increasingly more women, are also turning to the internet to shop for lingerie. This has made intimate apparel shopping easier in several ways. First of all, it’s convenient. Men in particular rarely dare to venture into Victoria Secret or other retailer. Besides, navigating though a busy mall is often a hassle. Shopping online for lingerie also has other benefits when compared to stores at your local mall. The biggest factor is price.

Prices online are generally more competitive, largely because of the amount of competition online and the ease of price checking. After all, it’s much easier to simply click off one site and find another in a search engine if you aren’t content with a site’s prices. This makes competitive pricing essential for online retailers. In addition, selection online is also good in most cases, offering many styles and many different brands to choose from. Couples can even shop for something romantic together in the comfort and privacy of their own home which is a good way to make sure everyone stays happy.

When a couple takes time to find the right lingerie and are open to enjoying it together, the experience can be quite memorable, whether it’s for a special occasion or a sudden romantic rendezvous.
